Well, I just found out that I have the go to attend UTI this fall. If I can sell my car in time, I can get my buddies ford ranger for CHEAP and it gets about 30-35 mpg so thats a big plus. That will help me on that 200 mile commute every weekend.

So if any of you know someone looking for a nice thirdgen, please send them my way, and here's a list of mods to give them

1986 Trans Am
WS6 suspension package (9 bolt posi and 4 wheel disks)
rebuilt 350 w/ about 4500 miles
700R4 transmission has about 3500 miles on it

Interior is pretty nice with the exception of dirty carpet and the plastic is busted on the drivers side seat belt (see pic).
INCLUDED is all the plastic panels to switch to black AND new black carpet (the rear panel to cover the hatch motor is for a non motorized hatch and will not work)
Has t-tops that only leak when sprayed with high pressure water

Painted GM Pewter Metallic last summer and has one scratch on the pass. side door but got a quote to fix it of $100.

The only thing the car needs is a new radiator. The little nipple that feeds the overflow bottle cracked and lets a little water out and needs to be topped off about once a week. Hell, some JB weld would fix it fine but just being honest. Runs great and just got new plugs and wires when I put the coated hooker headers on 2 weekends ago.

I need to get $4700 for it. I have about 8,000 in this car not counting the original cost. All the engine details can be seen in my sig. I need your help Houston guys and gals. Anyone who refers somebody to me and they buy the car will get a crisp $100 bill. I'd also consider a trade for like a newer S10 in good shape or something of equal value that gets good gas mileage and is in sound running condition.

 

 

What about trading for my v6 5-speed full size chevy truck? It gets 19mpg in the city , AC blows cold, and it runs great. I'll even include the 4thgen seats and the system that I have in it. (2 - 12's, amp, cross-over, alpine's in the doors and brand new Panasonic MP3/cd player with LCD (plays videos).

I forgot to add, the blower motor quit working about 2 weeks ago. I haven't checked to see if it's a fuse or the motor itself but I'll buy a new motor just in case. I think they're about 20 bucks on eBay. Just haven't had any time lately. Anyway, right after I got it painted, it got converted to R134-A and a new dryer put on and would freeze your *** off.

What year is your truck? You told me that day I came up to the shop but forgot.

It's a '95 model c-1500

it's got 3.42 gears, hypertech pullies, flowmaster with 3in exhuast, NGK plugs, bed-liner, K&N's....

It's a good daily driver / work truck.

Not at the moment. I think I've got my uncle talked into letting me keep that 91 bird I got at his shop and going to turn it into a new project if I can get a title for it.

I'm thinking LS1/6 speed... That will be when I have spare money and time though.

Whoops, forgot to update this thread. Well, Miek and I aren't going to be trading vehicles but he made me an offer on another car which is what I'm needing. So, as of right now, it looks like I can keep the car! woohoo!

I can finally take it off the road as my daily driver and make it a true "project car"
