hello....signed up today...hope you don't mind me lurking around...search function didn't work for me w/out joining...here to learn a bit about custom tuning the 749 ecm..... most tuning newbs at syty.net are directed to the following link as a "read this first" which is from here...good stuff... https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/promintro.shtml i'm in the process of learning to navigate rt tunercat using the intronics pocket romulator....use datamaster as a scantool and just purchased a plx wbo2....just went through a pretty thorough build on my .030 4.3 turbo motor and fired it up on stock 33 lb injectors and a stockish .bin...to be running a 3bar map out of an 89 turbo t/a...my pte turbo has a 70 mm wheel...need to brew up a startup program to run my 72lb injectors using tunercat....nobody that i have found has a bin even close to what i'm looking for...i have modded 2 ecms with the correct mosfets for use with low impedance injectors...my truck currently runs and drives under its own power, but runs out of fuel very quickly if i get on it more than half or so throttle....if anyone thinks he/she could set me on the right track, would be very grateful...also, if need be, i will gladly compensate you for your time as i realize this can be time consuming....

hey, i'm pretty certain that I know him...he own's the black lt1 hybrid....nice guy for sure....i'd look forward attending any future gathering...are these gatherings limited to third gens or gm in general? as far as a race, i'm always down for a friendly run...as long as it's from a dead stop i hear his car really moves...also watched it do a baseline dyno when it was white...

 

YES THERE IS--there is probably more than u want to know.U can (I have) spent countless hours researching any subject about thirdgens, and on some boards unless U do a search first about a subject, if it's a frequantly asked question, some people will get downright nasty with U. Always do yourself a favor and hit the search button first!

Pasky's most likely gonna be comin', maybe you 2 could cruise up to Austin, and cruise with us down to H-Town for the gathering. I've never seen a Syclone up close before. I've only seen the tail lights:lala:
