I wish I could have gone, did you see a group called the Top of Texas Trans Ams by any chance? Thats the club Im in, we won 3 awards, not sure for what though. Winners were a black 87 GTA hard top, a pewter 99 formula hard top and a 02 (?) sunset orange firehawk.

 

Yes!!! I met all of them and took group pics for them!!!! G Coffey, the Hawk owner, is a very good friend of mine!!! Wish you could have come.......next time for sure!!!

Thats awesome, I can't wait to see the pictures. George is a good guy, but I won't be the one that tells him! I havent got a chance to talk to him yet, what class did he win?

 

oh lord don't ask me that.......lol I hope someone will post a list of winners.....there were like 60 trophies and then several plaques; I'm doing good to even remember that George won!!

 

Georges category was 4th Generation, V-8, T-Top & Convert Class if I recall correctly.

A quick Change of subject, I just want to comment on what a great show you all put together. I dont know if I can speak for all of the Top of Texas Trans Am's but I will certainly be returning for the next one if there is any way possible & hopefully we can bring more cars next time.

I will say there was only 4 coats of clear on that one...... but lots & lots & lots of sanding, Polishing & polishing & polishing & a few good coats of polish too.......

 

well still. it looked like a black mirror. lol. i talked to you right at the end as yall were packing up. the big guy wearing the dork hat with the maroon 86 IROC. but it was wonderful just getting to see that car in person.

 

i get to see that car all the time the black 02 next to it in the picture is his too...how unfair is it that he can have 2 cars like that? not to mention the red 91 GTA and the red 00, 01 (?) ram air TA he has...well those are momma lynns cars but still...

 

well dang... i want a lot of cars. i have my soso IROC, and half a TA lol

oh, theres another guy with too many cars. Hotrodn has the white 97 in the picture, the red 88 in his avatar, and all kinds of other toys that i havent even seen yet....
