New Toy.

I got me a new toy two weekends ago. It's a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am (not the WS6) with the LS1 V8 and the six speed standard. I've had some fun with it already but I'm still riding about in the 'Maro. She's still my one and only. My first love. I'll have both of them out at the next meet which probably won't be until sometime in January.

I'm just excited I actually have something to drive with A/C and heat. Something that I can actually go somewhere in in the rain without having to worry about getting wet somehow.

Congratulations on the new car. I know what you mean about the A/C and Heat. I just bought a 99 Gmc Truck a couple months back and man does it feel good to have all the luxuries and good gas mileage. Is your car primer black with Cragar rims? I believe I have seen you driving it around the barker cypress and W. Little York area before. If so, nice car, it sounds good. Good Luck with both cars.

Yes, my third gen is primer black with Cragars. I live right off Barker Cypress near West Little York. That would probably explain why you've seen me over in that area. She needs another coat of primer. She's starting to fade. But thanks for the compliment. It made me feel good about her.

As far as the Trans Am, it didn't come with any aftermarket modifications. It was extremely clean though. I say "was" because the damn thing was totaled in a car accident Christmas Eve. Some lady in a 2004 Jeep Liberty pulled out in front of me on my way home from work that afternoon. The accident wasn't my fault but my insurance company ended up paying for it so they totaled it. The parts are just too damn expensive on those things. Body parts, that is. Plus both airbags deployed on me. The lady didn't even have insurance. Even though she was driving a brand new car pretty much. She presented me and the cop with an insurance card that didn't expire until April of this year and everything but her insurance policy was canceled prior to the accident, apparently. So yeah, that blew. I'm looking for another one. I've got my eye on a silver one just like the one I had. Same year and everything. Different rims but oh well.

So yeah. I'm back down to the Camaro again.

I really need a computer so I can read this message board more often. Eh.

Well, that sux, but I'd rather hear the 4th gen got totaled rather than the 3rd gen, but wish neither had been!
