Well i traded my k10 silverado today for a 92 25th aniversary z28 lb9 700r4 g80 white with red stripes. im surprised he traded me but the car has 250k on it but he got it form the original owner who said she had the motor and transmission gone through but know one knows about that but from driving it to me it drives likt its got 50k on it. has one little place on pass side fender where it meets the bumper guy sai someone backed into it but i think i can get it out and touch it up. i plan to keep this car stock for now and plan to replace the stripes since they are faded and cracked badly. car has power seats power locks windows hatch factory bose a/c works and blows cold. the tv cable throttle cable and cruise cables hoses all look to be fairly new and the tv cable was misadjusted so that may be the reason it was sold maybe the guy thought the transmision was going. it does have a flowmaster muffler with some awful looking tips ill most likely put a magnaflow on it with stock style tails tucked up outa site. ive always wanted one of these an its my first 3rdgen camaro out of the other 4 3rdgens ive had lol. its nice to have a good shape stocker to dd while my 86 is the toy. working on starting a f-body group local to me so now i can attend meets in this till the t/a is back together. anyway here are some pics.

Thanks. I gotta do a few things to it still the driver side seat bracket is broke so it feels like a rocking chair ill prob pull it out and weld it this weekend and the lights for the heat and a/c don't come on at night and ill prob change all fluids and flush the cooling system seems to wanna get warm if left to idle for awhile. Otherwise it flys lol. Took it out for a spin tonight with a friend and since I readjusted the tv cable with two of us in the car a full tank of gas it will chirp the 1-2 shift almost everytime. So far I'm happy with it but ill inspect it a bit more and hope I don't find any gremlins hiding. Would like some 3.42s or 3.23s for it though ordered a vette servo too I always believe even stock its a must have mod I've got one in my 03 yukon xl. I believe it will make a nice driver/cruiser for me and my wife who has already said it will be her car since I have the t/a lol.

Iv always been more into the birds but I've always wanted a 25th. It is a lot of miles but it doesn't drive like it. Motor is clean no smoking even on startup that tells me something has been done to the motor at some time. I'm gona do some digging ans see if I can contact the original owner. I keep thinking its been painted but the more I look I don't think so unless it was done late 90s early 2000s the stripes are cracked up and shrinking and I can't find any evidence of a respray anywhere. Maybe it was a garage kept car till a couple of years ago.

 

Restripe the car & redo the rims with the white inlays & you are good to go, the white & red 25th anniversary packaged Z28's rims had body color inlays. It may have been repainted cause the headlight buckets are suppise to be black on Z28's. Is your front grill white or black? If its white with a red bowtie then, the front grills are also body color on white & red 25th anniversary packaged Z28's. Their should be a red metal emblem on the left rear edge of the hatch, it should say 25th Anniversary on it, those also came witb the package.

Yup badge on hatch. Front seats in mint too just have covers on them.

 

Sweet just do the rims, stripes & hl buckets.

 

Yeah I even got the original owners manual with its cover too.

 

here are a few more pictures. i noticed today the oil cap leaks a little. so far ive put about 150 miles on it runs strong ill most likely change the plugs i can feel a miss at idle especialy with the a/c on. sounds like the cat may be going though. i may order a new one and some dynomax 3in prebent pipes and a single in/out magnaflow and stick on to fix that lol. never been a fan of flowmaster and since i plan to hide the tail pipes anyway why not just run one.

lol its one of those rubber plugs that uses two big washers and bolt/nut to draw it tight.
