I am fine with otto's, but should we plan for the 26th since that will give everybody time to ask off if they usually work weekends( me

)Now if I was driving my car it would be 3000 rpm at 60 mph on the freeway, choking on fumes with my windows down, no AC, and worrying about driving around on basically slicks if it rains.

Gets everyone to change their schedule then doesn't show....
Just kidding...
One day is generally as good as any other for me. But looks like I may not be able to go either...unless I can fit a baby seat in past my roll cage.

PS--if it ends up being at Otto's, as close as that is to where I live, I might show--depending on whether it's staggering HOT or not!

I did, plndtx, l_dis_travlr and a couple of others. There was a nice 3rd gen trans am with a HSR and some other mods. There was a very interesting 1st gen Camaro RS SS with dual carbs and a big, blower like, scoop that parked right next to me.
I didn't see Zap Racing...I guess work is sometimes more important that playing.
The weather was perfect, nice and cool, hardly any mosquitoes.
There was a pretty good turnout with 25 maybe 30 cars at a time.
There was also a seriously riced out Acura NSX with some asian guy driving it. He kept revving his little engine and running stop signs,,,it was really kind of sad. I still feel sorry for him.
Anyway, I had a great time. Those of you hwo didn't make it missed out.

Did you see the red 4th gen with the twin turbos? It had a cool sheet metal(?) intake. I'm not much into 4th gens but you have to appreciate the work it took to get it installed.
BTW. My clutch didn't slip in 5th gear on the way home. I wonder what is up with that? I stomped it several times on the beltway and it didn't slip.
Seems like I remember reading in my repair manual that one of the options for a slipping clutch is to drive it normally for a while and it may stop slipping.
