92 formula from previous third gen member

hey guys, just join the site, ive been on before as the person i bought my car from was from this site, i never met him as he was in the military and his father was brokering the sale but i would like to get ahold of him, the car is a 1992 firebird formula with gfx delete l98 roh rims american hood twin ram air, has auburn gears custom tranny and engine mods, the color is arctic white and it is pretty damn quick. I would like to get ahold of him to find out more info on what mods exactly he did i know he was from the conroe texas area and his name i believe is clint stanley, if anyone knows a way to contact him or if you are him please if you could send me a message on here or on yahoo ian_w_2000 i would greatly appreciate it.

------on another note-------
While driving the car i was backing out of my spot at work and got nailed int the rear driver qtr panel and am currently working on resto'ing the complete car, hence the need for mod specs, and at the moment am dealing with a heater core leak, the car has been sitting for about 1-1/2 years and for the last year i havent even started it, i live about 5 hours away from where the car was stored and was able to keep running it regularly...as a testament to the strength and ability of these cars...changed the battery added some oil and cleaned the air filter...started right up...smoked 2-3 mins and then cleared right up...and still runs like a scalded banshee, right now amd in the process of getting street legal and all that please message with any help
thanks in advance

I don't remember seeing a car like that at any of our meets. Sounds like a nice car. Any pics? Maybe some competition for me and Barry and Zap at the drag strip

yeah it looks like crap right now...

as i said...it got smacked by a dually in the back corner so right now doesnt look that good, but there is a teal 92 on the 92 firebird pics that looks pretty much the same just has roh rims instead of firehawk. I know he used to be on this site, and from what i understood from his father he was one of the oldest members on here, was several years ago though and i really need to know what was done inside the block and heads, but thats life...

We are getting into the low 13s in the 1/4. My best was 13.3 before some more mods, in hot weather. about 8.4 or 8.5 in the 1/8th mile.

We have had meets at the strips where we run in classes according to time, like 12s, then 13s, etc. How about you?

I'm hoping to break into the 12s, I've hit 13.4 @ 106 on a street tire. Since then I finally got the car tuned right (or pretty damn close) and upgraded to a much better clutch, the McLeod single disc. If I can get some DRs as well I'd hope for 12.99 at least. I really need a 12 bolt though as I'm on my 3rd 10 bolt. I've seen your car on Mason before, I think you only live around the corner from me.

The screen name your looking for is ArticWS6. It used to be his car.

As i remember the motor has stock heads/cam, some bolt ons, Slp 1 3/4 headers and a catback. i dont know what it looks like now, but in its "glory days" it was the best looking formy ive ever seen. you can find him here 3rdgen.org

Yah, that's Arctic's old car. I was thinking about buying it a couple years ago. I might have his sn somewhere or a way to get in touch with him if you still need it.
