ARD is holding a dyno day for htownracing on the 12th of november, all thirdgeners are invited also so it would be a great time to see where our cars are at before the big fall brawl on november 18th.

Read the link (actually joined up), no pricing info evident. Had a real good time at the last dyno day, if any of you TGO guys are just lurking, you should consider speaking up and attending. Good times and good info.

i think owen was talking similar pricing to the thirdgen one whatever that rate was 40-45 for 3 pulls and 25 for wideband if we have to weld in a bung, if we dont then 15

From I-10 and highway 6, go north past Keith Harrow till you reach Addicks Satsuma. Take a right turn and go about 100 yards down, and you will see the sign and it is located on the left in a business park.

yeah, i saw that, my car is front and center and doesnt even look too bad for a old thirdgen

 

Man...I sure wish my ECU was back...I've had my built engine in the car now for well over a month... sure would be nice to get some numbers over 300 whp. This time I wouldn't blow a tire either

 

i hope you can be there, the last one was good fun for all

 

Im going to try and be there. I installed the exaust cutout after the last one. Also Id like to try and adjust my fuel pressure with the adjustable fuel pressure regulator since I was running rich before. I have not done the tuning that Owen suggested would help my car so much. Just havent had the time or money to go and get Mike there at the same time. I suppose this day would not be ideal since there may be a lot of cars and tuning would take up a lot of time, right?

Also, I cant really stay the whole day. Maybe I will call and see when I could be fit in.

Also I really need to get the leak fixed on my TH350 where the dip stick goes into it. The bitewads who installed the transmission really screwed that up and hit is very hard to get to without a lift.

What kind of turnout are you expecting? Looks like a few from H-town, plus Larry from here? If in town I'll show, I want to see Daniel's car. Won't run though, no changes since last time.

Maybe we can discuss it a little at Dyno Day, a little more at Fall Brawl, then another discussion or two with full comittment by New Years. I expect the old bird to be FLYING by Spring Fling!

Larry was the only one to Dyno all day, but I did drive my car and it left a huge grin on my face

 

U mean NOBODY showed up? None of the H-town people!

 

I would say about 15 people showed up all day but no one had their car there to dyno.

 

Well, that sucks!

 

it really was good cuz we got some work done, ask daniel how long it took me to put a 3:73 gear in a 95 z28, anyway had fun and had a barbque

 

We kept saying, " when is ZAP going to get here?" , i guess we will see you this weekend though

 

I was in Ft. Worth last weekend--actually Granbury for a big Tx series slot car race. My car was excellent--I sucked!
