is that with you pulling and installing? or them?

i got mine pulled after i busted it, got the master rebuild kit installed, a new seal, torque converter, and somethin else... with tax, for about 1k. i towed the car in, picked it up a few days later. 1yr warranty.

Re: 700R4 Transmission Rebuilder...

Ok, Well i just got it back Friday and all seems well..nice shifting barks the tires just a little from the 1-2 shift when your in it real hard..but other then that its just like a stock rebuild.. He said i had to replace the stock converter as it was bad..So i got a rebuilt one, This one is a little loser for and extra 145.00 It stalls at about 2100 Rpm. I all so had a bigger servo put in it to keep more pressure on the over drive band.. and all so wanted him to make sure it shifted from 3 to 4 with out letting out of the Throttle....for all this i was out the door for 845.00 P.S. I drove the car there and dropped it off for that price, they did all the pulling and putting it back it in..and give me a 12 month or 12000 mile warranty... They seem really nice, so only time will tell what kind of job was done..But i give them an Good job rating so far...A-1 transmission on 1960 in Humble ask for Sam

B4C cars should make the WOT 3-4 shift stock as the police cars needed the top speed to catch the bad guys.

The 1988 to 1990 cars generally wouldn't make the 3-4 shift at full throttle. The 87's and earlier would. And sometime around 91/92, GM started making the cars do the 3-4 shift again.

Re: 700R4 Transmission Rebuilder...

It doesn't make any difference on the stall speed as far as price goes you could get a 3000 stall it would still be the same price 145.00 for a tq conv. is a Real Good Price for a new one with a 12 month warranty... and for that price i got a servo that is a little bigger then a corvette..just my .2 Most people around here would like to get 1000.00-1450.00 for a good rebuild with a warranty..

Like i was saying it just depends on were you live, I just got lucky that I know the guy. As far as the converter if you know some were to get a 3000 stall for that price let me know mine cost me about 250
