emissions

How are you passing emissions after May 1st? The emissions laws seem to have gone *** ****ed now. I still want to drive my camaro, but if I can't get it to pass....it'll probably be honda time for me . Either the ****ing honda or a pre-76 camaro or trans am. If you know anymore information on emissions it'd help.

BTW: I live in north texas in denton county.

I would like to know everything personaly. I have a 91 firebird and want to drop a carbed 350 in but highly doubt it will pass emissions. I have heard it is going to be on a dyno but what are they really testing for? Thanks

I read somewhere in abother post that they were testing at two different speeds or something, and I know 25 mph was one of them. the post also said something about just below full power so that it wasnt running as clean as its supposed too or something gay like that.

Its a 2 speed test 15 and 25. You will also now fail if you have any flud leaks of any kind.....they dont want it getting on the dyno. Just thought id add that.

This is interesting! I found this out from my dad. Only Harris county and the D/FW area has to pass the new test. So, with me living in Galveston county, I won't have to take the test til may 1 2003.
