Chips Burned in GA metro Atlanta

Does anybody know of a good shop that burns PROMS? Let me know....I know about the message board for DIY but I don't have that kind of time right now to do all of the research.

Thanks,

Yeah, there is a place in Marietta that does it. They're like 5 miles from my house, but I can't place their name. They do mostly LS1 vehicles, but when I spoke to them, they said they would take it over to the dyno place (can't remember their name either although I've used them twice) and tune it on the dyno. He quoted me about $400 or so.

Chip burning place is located at Hwy 5 and Jamerson Road.

Dyno is located 1 mile east of the Big Chicken.

If I remember their names I'll post them.

Id bet the dyno would be atlanta chasis dyno.

As for the shop, good luck.
I would actually suggest you buy a kit and do it yourself.
They dyno costs 50 dollars for 3 runs on thursdays, the kit to make the chip costs you 200 or so.

I know about the kit for DIY but unfortunately I need to at least get the car running properly then I can play around with it. Since you mentioned Atl Chassis Dyno have you had any experiences with them? If so how was it. I was thinking about contacting them. Let me know.

ACD is in Duluth, no where near HWY 5. DynoLab is close by the big chicken, but so is RPM Performance and one other place.

Brad at ACD I know has done excellant work in the past when it comes to tuning cars.

Not when it came to tuning. ACD is basically a Mustang & 4thgen F-bod shop. I know Brad uses one's laptop to do the tuning on Speedpro systems and Haltech. I am 99% sure he can burn a chip for the 3rdgens, wouldn't hurt to give them a call.

You can reach them through here:

161 ground-pounding rwhp, and 253 stump-pulling lbs. ft. torque! ha ha ha

i'm looking for an good mechanic ... someone who can handle everything from the little stuff to an engine swap. anyone have any ideas?

also, on the subject of chip burning, the optimum solution would be for the dyno shop to be able to burn the chips. that way, you don't have to run back and forth.
