One thing I noticed was this forum was way too big to speak with loval fbody owners. Check out Southeast CamaroZ, not many of us from Montgomery area there...I'd like to change that.

I'm in Huntsville, AL....right next to Madison, one hour or so north of B'ham. I'm up for any cruise in's/out's, or attending car shows, or races. Just let me know.

 

Mobile is my hometown but I live in LA now (Army) but will be tring to get stationed back at Ft. Benning (Columbus, GA) because I bought a house in Phenix City. I'll try to look you guys up then.

Cruise-in at Dairy Queen on HWY72 Madison this Wednesday Oct. 1st. The last two, I've been the only 3rd gen there.

jblkz28 here , Im from phenix city but live in virgina now. I do landscaping and pools for a living. One of my customers is Spyder Man Mcbride. He is a seven or eight time world champion motorcycle drag racer. He is from dothan. He now lives in Paquoson Virginia. Im going to close his pool down tomarrow. He is a realy nice guy.

 

My car is also a work in progress. It looks like crap right now. Its primer black. Hope to get it painted by next summer. I painted my rims black and have firestone ,fire hawk tires with white lettering. They look good. My car runs alot better than it looks. Iv got a 350 with some mods done.

 

whats up man. Im from Phenix city. Im in Virginia right now , wish I could get back home. I bought my 84 Z28 in Columbus a few years back. Pretty much all my family lives in Phenix City. My friend back home has a 81 Z28 Drag car with 650 hp(just motor)small block. He runs it at the drag strip sometimes in Landonia off of Hwy 80. You should check it out one day if ya didnt know about it. Hope you can get back to Fort Benning. Cya sorry this is in response to budofbama31313

 

Yeah I finally got orders for Benning and will be returning around Feb. I know the strip you are talking about, got a buddy with a dodge 4x4 that he takes out there alot. I haven't been out there yet but plan to. If they have a test and tune night I might just run mine a few times to see what it's got (legally).
