Ah. I ended up tossing those.

 

Got it fired up yesterday. Had to supply fuel through the intake to keep it running. Vats are enabled and I'm swapping in the 4th gen plastic tank.

 

I bet that felt good to get it running. Looks like you still have a bit to go. Looks forward to seeing it in person.

Just bought this today, 3rd car i've ever owned and i'm in love so far! Would definitely love to swap out the v6 for a 305 down the road, but for now it'll do nicely the way it is

Put the LS and the T56 in the car last night. Waiting on the Hawk's crossmember so I can bolt the trans in completely, and get the headers on.

What's up guys.
I am looking for a tuner or someone who knows computers and tuner pro. I am in Palm Beach County. I have done a complete TPI intake change . The car runs great but I think it needs a little tuning. I have downloaded Tuner pro and loaded the specific ADL file and bought the proper Moates cable but I can't get tuner pro to connect to the car. I am just trying to datalog the car at this point, not actually burning a chip. Anyone know anyone in SoFlo area that still works with our OBD1 computers.

I believe you need the adx file for data logging. The other files are for tuning. I'm having some trouble also, I got the drivers for the cable, it says the cable is functional and working, and when I went to the dashboard, I couldn't see it and it wasn't working right. I reached out to moats technical support and they're like simple, don't use the dash doesn't work on everything. But they didn't give any tips on how to find or see anything either. I checked YouTube for videos, not much help either. I just wanted a log and see what's going on. Thank you all in advance.

 

Yes it is an ADX file, my bad. Sounds like you and I are having the same issue Raf. My cable does not show up in the lower left side box on tuner pro. When I go to the Preferences tab and do the cable test through the acquisition window it shows it is there and working. I set up my acquisition com port prior to the cable test. Then I hit the 2 arrow initiate tab and the yellow lower left side box turns to connecting and it never connects? I waited a few minutes. I called Moates also I got a similar vague answer. Are you at least getting a connection to your car?

 

Just to be sure, you need tuner pro RT for data logging. The tuner pro version doesn't have day logging.

I know how that goes, between work, the little bit of side work I do, and the honey-do list, it can be hard to find free time.

My car is currently down anyways(technically up.. in the air lol)
Getting the underside degreased and straightening the pinch rails while waiting for the subframe connectors I ordered to come in.
Plus most of my interior is out for that as well.

Once I get my LS swap done and car back on the road(goal of December to have it done) I'd definitely be up for setting up some kind of meet/cruise with some folks.
