The owner of county line is trying to find another space and have another track. My dad and I are pretty good friends with the owner, been there since it opened ! Lol

That sucks man, major bummer. I just went through that (well not 100% done yet) epic adventure. Fired my 90 Bird up for the first time in 10 months? last Saturday. I went for the ol' l98 (spun the barring's) to l31 Vortec (97 Tahoe 350) swap. Of course I had to get the SD intake to retain the tpi, had to have headers, then cam'd it, lol... the list goes on.. It was an awesome experience, yet I'm glad the ridiculous spending spree is over. I think it'll be worth it in the long run, it felt worth it last Sat. when I fired her up!! <--- still has goose bumps

Did you not use your l98 heads? Or did you get a intake that fit the vortec heads? Gonna be doing this swap soon (l98 to vortec short block with my l98 heads)

Re: Florida thirdgens
I used the 906 Vortec heads. And yeah, I purchased SD's 3817 intake manifold. Still have the old 083 heads layin' around, they need guids, etc. 100% completed project now. She runs.. well kinda, lol. I'm in need of a local tuner DESPERATELY!!! Yeah, yeah, I've heard it a million times from those "retirees" or pro-builders on here.. "Do it your self". Well works picked up for me, outta time. I've done the swap/build, bodywork, paint, interior, etc on my own, and I'd rather pay someone else to tune it. End of story. Anyone with a solid lead on one or experience themselves (willing to get paid to do it) hit me up! I willing to drive as far north as Sebastian, and south as West Palm.

It has 85-90 gfx, American racing wheels, ands th350 transmission with a shift kit. Other then that, the car is completely stock.
If anyone is interested or knows someone to that is looking , feel free to contact me

Re: Florida thirdgens
Whats up guys,

My name is Frank and ive owned a couple of Thirdgens over the years. I recently sold them all to open my performance shop down here in Pompano Beach. We do a bunch of GM and Ford performance work. We work on anything and everything from one-off custom builds to your everyday street machines. We do a bunch of LS swaps and road race builds. Just putting the word out to all who follow this thread.

If anyone is looking for work to be done, or have any questions feel free to give me a call.

Re: Florida thirdgens
sadly moved out of FL years ago but my 3rd Gen didn't. it's time to get rid of it. body is in pretty bad shape being out side all that time in the back yard. but does have a few parts left if anyone is looking for some small stuff and in Tampa area. these cars don't seem to even be in junk yards anymore. hit me up and I'll see if it's there, what shape and if you want it before it gets sold off in the next year or so. I'm just not in town often. maybe once a month. it's a 91z28 with black interior. things like plastics are probably good. but seats aren't. they'd need to much.

Hey guys, Ft Lauderdale here. Actually Dania Beach. Just bought my favorite car from my 20's. I had one of these when I was 19 and felt the need to get another one. I pick it up Thursday.

1987 GTA. Paint original and in "OK" condition but pretty good for a 30 year old car. Needs very little to be a 10. I'm going to make this thing look like it did when it rolled out of the factory in 1986/87

Sounds good. I have an RV camping trip in mid November so if the event is not during that weekend then I'll be there with my bird. I have a buddy with a 2nd gen TA that may go as well....gold Smokey and the Bandit model.
