Re: Florida thirdgens
I need a drivers side floor pan. from 4inches before the front seat brace to the front of the back seat.
I was just going to patch the cancer spot. but when i pulled the carpet up, the seat braces were gone.
I need one pretty quick. or if you know of a junk yard that has one that would be good too.
Saint cloud a.salvage def doesnt.

Car Warz is tomorrow at 1130 I think. Here is the link: http://www.carwarz10.com/ . Also, tonight at 530pm to midnight is military appreciation night at County Line Drag Strip. I am going to run down the track once or twice. I haven't done it yet. Just curious to see what I will be running.

All Standard Transmission, 1722 West 32nd Place, Hialeah, FL 33012-4512, (305)826-8560. They don't install but they do good rebuilds for cheap and fast. A rebuilt T5 with a core is about $700. T56 for about $1000.

Re: Florida thirdgens
7 years now. It was my brothers before i got it. Then he basically gave it to me. I spent 5 years on the orignal build. Then I kinda drove it for about 2 years. I say kinda because I have only put 430 miles on it. I've torn it apart a few times. Once was to take out the hydraulic flat tappet setup and switch to a solid roller setup. The car has been apart for the last 3 months again. Originally I was just going to redo the exhaust but one thing led to another. In the end I wound up doing new valve covers with a custom PCV valve setup, complete new exhaust including headers, very involved T56 swap, solid motor mounts, line lock with all new front brake lines, polished a few aluminum pieces under the hood, took off the coil over setup and put Eibach springs on, wired in a fan control setup, built a custom torque arm setup, and cleaned up some of the wiring and things that were bothering me. I think thats everything. I'm not done with all this yet. I'm going to start building the exhaust tomorrow so I can start on the torque arm mount next week.

I'm in Lakeland but all Florida is in danger of me driving through the neighborhood!
Nice to see so many interested parties around. I hope everybody keeps posting about car shows and what not.

Broward / Miami area thirdgens:
Yeah I have been reading up on what seems to be several people interested in the thirdgen scene but dont know where to start and club interest / such.
I am going to start a club when I get back home to FL I'm proly 4 months out from being back home and when I do I will be starting an F body club who will primarily want thirdgens but any F body would be welcome depending on participation and founding member interest. I do have experience as I have been a probie for a car club who is rather serious with mods and trophy winning cars...multiple state events..etc.
you may research them at racelinepm.com
The initial plan is to get a group together every friday night or when people can make the fridays at the car meets at tower shops in davie FL. Depending on advancement of vehicles and whom the founding members are will determine qualifying rules of official club entry and event participation...but anyone may hang out for ***** and gigs. I will have more details when I get back home but trust that those whom want to wear whatever windshield sticker or shirts we come up with will have to have at least a fully restored car. Doesnt have to run 200mph, hell it can be a V6 but it MUST be clean....no dents...good paint...no dash cracks...one color of paint lol.
To see the progress of my T56 / LS1 92 RS check out http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id...af7d3d3da51020
and I highly suggest adding me on FB.
I also encourage anyone to start meeting up at the tower shops with the other third gens and start getting acquainted. You guys have ample time to get to know one another and pick a particular parking area and such long before I get down there. Anyone from south florida just send me a FB message saying you are a FL thirdgen guy and I will start getting people to know one another.

For all those Miami and Fort Lauderdale Thirdgeners, I think the "Towershoppes of Davie' Friday Night Cruise" will be a good place to meet. I will be there this Friday at 6pm. It goes from 6pm to 10pm. It would be cool to see some other thirdgens there. It is located at I-595 / University Dr. (south 2 blocks on left - behind Arby's in Plaza).

Nice! Can't wait to come back and chill with you guys....I'm pissed man I was being a douche and spun my camaro out going around a corner and did some more minor damage it's no big considering the whole car needs body and paint work. Sucked sitting facing the wrong way in the road tho stalled for 10 seconds haha. That's actually the first time I have lost control with her yet but I had it coming.
