Hi to the group.
I've been a member for quite some time, but I've mostly be monitoring for information and following some of the topics.
I am on my 3rd Z-28; 1st. '77 1/2, 2nd '92 25th Ann., currently '89 IROC ragtop.
After a two year rebuild/refurbish, I lost my '92 to an engine fire last Aug. I ordered it in Oct. or '91 to get the 5-spd., I'd had it for 16 years. I had to stand on the side of the road and watch it burn. The firemen pulled me back as I was too close to the six to eight foot flames. I know the group can identify with how I felt.
My ins co gave me $18,400 for it and I managed to replace it with a one owner '89 IROC conv. However, it was a 700R4 and I'm a gear banger. I began to gather the parts for a T5 swap as soon as I got it. I have almost everything finished. However, I have not been able to find a flywheel inspection/dust cover. I'm usually very good at finding parts, but I've used up all of my sources with no luck.
Apparently, I'm 'stuck in the middle'. The OEM is out of production and it seems that my '89 is too new for a repop.
I would really appreciate any help on this as it is ragtop weather here in western PA and, as my '92 was a T-top car. I would really like to get this one on the road.
I may find it difficult to keep up with this group as I am the moderator of a GTO group: 'GTO Geezers' a free discussion group for 40 year old and older GTO owners. I am also on my 3rd GTO; 2 '65s, and currently a four year frame off '66 hard top.
I also spend some time playing with my '79 Harley Sportser XLH 1000...when I don't have it torn apart...like now.

I hope to learn more about Camaros and, as I have been working on, and driving musclecars since the mid '60s, and have done five restorations, I may have some things to contribute.
