Hi Gulf coast cruisers
I just joined Thirdgen. I have a 1989 RS convertible that i picked up in Orlando last August. It had 79,500 original miles, was well kept and garaged. I took it to a mechanic and it was 2 thumbs up! I have since put BF Goodrich T/A radials on, and totally had the exhaust redone. I went with a Hiflo catalytic converter and flowmaster 80 series and WOW what a difference! The name of my car is Dejablu. The story behind that is I had a 1974 RS same blu color. I sold it in 1989 after it had been hit by a drunk driver in front of my house parked. It was a sad day, but 20 years later I bought the car that was made the year I sold my '74! So I'm feeling much better now.

Thanks. So far so good. It's amazing how much people in their 20's love American muscle cars. I thought it was all about foreign cars, but theirs no substitute for an American muscle car.
