I know this isnt the right board, but i figured if i put it in the south east board, maybe someone would recognize it...

Bayler Teal was a great kid with great parents whos life was taken by cancer today. He and his family are big South Carolina Gamecocks fans and that contributed to several football players seeing him in the childrens hospital, and him throwing a first pitch at a baseball game. Things took for the worst a few weeks back when the cancer spread to the majority of his body, and today we knew he was having a rough day. I'm not sure if any of you are watching the college world series, but South Carolina has two teams of the 4 left, Clemson, and USC. Carolina was tied up, then losing in extra innings when we got the word. We all in my house discussed how cool it would be if Carolina won for Bayler, and they pulled it out in the bottom of the 12th to win 3-2 going to the final 4.

Please pray for the Teal family as they've been enduring this pain for a long time, and his parents are good friends of mine, and my family's.

Sorry for their lost...that has to be the worse thing that a person has to endure outlive your child.

There is nothing in life harder than the loss of a child.
I almost lost my youngest daughter at 10 months and again in her mid twenties, this time to meth. I have her back again and she is doing great.
I share the pain his family is going through, it is something you try and live with but his parents will never get past it. I also lost a brother when I was eight and my parents and I have never "gotten over it."

 

this is very sad. i hope the family is doing ok. i kinda know what they are going through since i lost my brother at the age of 17 a few years back. its something they will never get over but something they will learn to deal with. i send my utmost sympathy for the family and will be in my prayers from now on.
