Yeap I lowered the car with Eibach Sportline Springs & Used some KYB struts. I really like the way it turned out.

I'm all for something yearly.... but where? I would think somewhere Central KY.

FYI -- During the spring and summer months, Bardstown has a local group of classic car owners called "Whiskey City Cruisers" that meet and have a car show in front of the Nelson County Justice Center (large parking lot) every second Saturday evening of each month (usually 30 to 50 cars or so). They will begin this year on April 9th. (3pm-dusk)

This may be a good place to meet each other during the summer months because it's a continual thing and a free event. Keep in mind the "Cruisers" are more than just camaros, all sorts of vehicles...but it would give us something to do and put thoughts together to do our own thing in the future...just a thought.

I live here in Bardstown, so I usually go with my Z28 and my Dad takes his 67 Chevelle SS.

I'll definitely ride out to Car Show in Bardstown. I might invite a couple other third gen guys as well. The Bardstown meet will be a great place to plan for a yearly F-Body Gathering and put all of our thoughts together. We might be able to put something together for this year.

Somerset has a great cruise. It's just not very central. I think it's the forth weekend of every month. Well April-October. I would like to get together sometime tho.

I live right across the river from Louisville over in New Albany, KY. Sadly I had to sell my 3rd Gen a few years back. Getting back into Chevy muscle though with a recently purchased 84 El Camino.

No pics, but here is a burnout video, I did this when I graduated High School. You can see all the tread marks from where I was there the past week or so, lmao. I had a lot better burns then.

Wow...really looking forward to April 9th in Bardstown! I've got some minor tune up work to get done between now and then, but very anxious to get my Z out of winter sleep!

I just checked out the Somerset cruise link from earlier conversation above....looks like June showcases F-bodies. I hear this is a fun place to be for the summer cruises.

Just finsished putting in a Hurst billet plus shifter in my IROC this morning. I had to test drive it on a damp road. Kinda hurt my feeling to get it out, but I had to drive it!

Every should check out the Somerset cruise sometime. I can meet you guys somewhere. It would be awesome to have a big ole line of Third Gens headed down the road.

Just a shout out to my hometown cruise Stanford KY... It is the third friday night of every month, April through October. If you are bored come check it out. Kinda small but always fun.

Sounds good! I go to somerset for the cruise's in the summer. Sadly , you don't see many thirdgen camaros and Firebirds. My GTA is seeing alot of new goodies. Just removed all the A/C components from under the hood, added the delete box, added A/C delete pulley, smog pump delete pulley, new TDS steering brace w/ TDS bushings. Rear swaybar por-15ed and ready to go back on with TDS bushings. Getting ready to replace the sleepy 2.73 gears with a Torsion series 3 with 3.42's, and a TA performance Diff cover. Umi Panhard bar, J&M poly ball LCA's.
Then on to 2 more front wheels for the rear, order new Hampton vinyl for the seats from Hawks, and headliner and new t-top molding. Oh, and replace the flowtech headers with Dyno Dons, and get the edelbrock high flow intake and runners.
Purchase a 350 this summer for a rebuild then late summer of fall drop that in there.
I think thats it ! LOL..

I didn't want to mod it much. It's mainly all original with 58,000 miles. Just did a few things that Chevrolet should of done...like lowered it two inches.
That's why I bought the Camaro. I wanted something to play with that needed some minor work. Now I like them both.

The Cruise is in Bardstown...... I was thinking about getting a couple of Louisville guys together and cruising out there if interested. I'm trying to get as many Third Gen guys to attend the event as possible lol.

The cruise is held in the Nelson County Justice center parking lot...across the street from the only McDonald's in Bardstown....if you can't find it, ask a local where McD's is located...can't miss it.

Is everyone ready for warm weather? Hopefully the weather will cooperate on 4/9/11 for the Whiskey City Cruise in Bardstown! I plan on rolling in around 3 or 4pm and hanging out for a while.
