Trying to do something good, could use some help? - DELIVERED!
There I was at G15, when I noticed an '86 T/A pull in with a dented driver side front fender.
I asked him if someone backed into him in a truck?
He said yes, truck or SUV of some type.
No I was not in that truck, in fact it was the first time I had ever met him.
A similar thing happened to my driver side fender when a truck backed into the fender.
It seems the rear bumper height is about just above the tire height on 3rd gens.
Anyway, I am parting out an '88 T/A for myself.
I will not use the fenders with the vent in them for my cars (personal choice)
So I told him he could have it, free.
Now I am in the New Orleans Area and he is somewhere east of Atlanta in Loganville.
Shipping costs are absurd.
I had this strange idea. Here we are spread out over the south, a network of people.
I bet that either someone is heading towards if not going to Atlanta in the near future,
lets say from Southern or mid Mississippi or possibly Southern Alabama
that could possibly have room in the back of a pick up for a set of fenders.
To help out this 3rd gen entusiast.
One route would be Hattiesburg, meridian, tuscaloosa, Atlanta and then Loganville.
The other route would be Gulfport, Mobile, Montgomery, Atlanta then Loganville,
Now I could drive up to hattiesburg or the Mobile area from new orleans,
got some friends in either area that I could say hi to as well.
Anyone else?

This is good!
The member I am trying to get this to is, Rickey_85TA.
He is up in Loganville, Ga about 3.5 hour drive away.
I "pm'd" him and am waiting for a response.
If this works out, a little help is a good thing!

Hey, I was at G15 too. I am in Bham- going to Atlanta (specifically McDonough area) on saturday the 13th to get Justin from Blackbear to tune my Suburban. If somebody is coming thru Bham area before then- I can get em from here to Atlanta. McDonough is on the southeast side, so he could meet me there easily I think.

The fenders look great. I have to do a little body work and paint them before putting them on. I'm not sure when I will get around to doing that because I just moved into my first house and I'm still getting settled in. I also gotta help my friend out with his 87 camaro front end rebuild.
