Mobile Al - October 29th 2011 - GCA Farewell to Summer
This looks like a pretty interesting get-together. It's being spread through a lot of forums and isn't going to be one of those 'dry' car shows with a bunch of garage queens. I'm gonna try to make it as I like going to Mobile. Info from another forum:
GCA Presents - Farewell to Summer 2011
The next meet location with be held at the Alabama Cruise Terminal located in beautiful downtown Mobile. GCA has leased out the ENTIRE 5 levels of the parking garage!! Each level has the capacity of holding 100 cars, trucks and bikes. That's a total of 500 parking spots!!! There will be a $2 parking fee charged by the city/terminal and not of GCA. GCA will NOT be profiting from these fees. Armed security and food vendor will be on site. Donation boxes will be places through out garage to help pay for cost of lease, permits, insurance and hopefully enough to fund the next event. Let's make this meet epic and have a great time. Rain or shine,doesn't matter. Plenty of sets of ***** will be on hand for your viewing pleasures.
Meet is from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I will definitely try and make it with it only being an hour away from pensacola.
