Re: 700r4. Does this work???
'Looks like it applies only to the late model 700R-4. I would connect the "switched power" he's referring to, to the brake switch. That's how I did mine, but it's an early model so I had to install an external pressure switch in the 4th gear pressure port...

The brake switch can have one 12v wire that goes to the TCC. When you brake, the (normally closed) switch opens, which disengages the converter clutch so the car doesn't stall.
But it could depend on your application. Not sure if the 86 Camaro has that feature.

Ok I’m a little confused now. The upper video states to connect to switch power to get it to work. And if I do the way you stared I’m using 12v from the brake switch to make it not work. Sorry I’m new to this

Yes, that video is if you're going to use a simple 12v toggle switch to activate, or 12v continuous.
The brake switch is tied into your ignition and has 12v when the car is on. It disengages while you press on the brake, and engages when you let go. It's basically an open/close switch....an interruption of current.
Car on - not pressing brake - switch is closed - 12v flowing - TCC is active
Car on - press brake - switch is opened - 12v interrupted - TCC is off
That make sense?
