I am somewhat new to ThirdGen.org, and this is my first post on an actual account. I am currently trying to find my dads 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS 25th Anniversary Heritage Package.
My father purchased the vehicle new in 1992. It was the first car that he bought new. About a year later, he traded it into George Coleman Ford for a 1992 Notchback Foxbody. He now expresses regret for this, since the Camaro is a much nicer vehicle, aside from the 305 TBI powertrain. Since then many a' vehicles have come and gone and the Camaro was all but forgotten about. Until recently.
When going through documents in the basement, we discovered the window sticker. My dad told me that he had wished he kept the car, and was open to finding it, and buying it back. A long amount of research led me to finding everything but who owned the old car. The very thing I need to actually find it.
That's why I am here, and where the help you guys might be able to give comes in handy.
I would like anyone who is willing to help me find this car while I work on gaining the funds to purchase it. I am going to gift my dad's vehicle back to him, and take it for a joy ride ever so often.
Please, if you are not willing to help, and are only here to comment "You're better off just buying a similar vehicle, forget about it," thanks for the advice, but no thanks. I am really determined to find this specific car, and beyond a will to make my dad and I happy, I'm not really even really sure what is driving me to BE this determined.
Below, I'm going to list information that could be helpful in finding the Camaro. If you have ideas on where else to post this or who might be able to help better, please let me know. Thanks for all the help.
-The VIN is 1G1FP23E0NL142243
-Its still a clean car, Not been salvaged
-The title was last issued Feb. 22nd, 2017 in Tennessee
-The vehicle seems to be last sold at C&C Motor Company, which is now defunct, In Knoxville for $5,995.
If you need any more information, just ask
