I just posted in another thread but figured i would start a new thread for people who wont see it...but I think we need to have a gathering thing at firebird this friday..theres been all this talk about atgo and what not yet it seems like nothing ever happens... I feel its time we finally get together and whoop some ***** ***.. im rebuilding my carb tomorrow so i hope that will help out with my bogging and crappy 60'....whoevers interested post here and lets get this thing going.....

Actually I may not be able to make it next friday (the 25th) because my parents are in town YEEEHAW! I don't know if I'll go, but I'm down there every other friday that I can (I've been there for the past 3 fridays, two times their computers busted that track is run by idiots) Maybe I'll see you guys there though

I'm going to try and make it, but with all the work I have to do next weekend on the car I will definietly NOT be racing. The fuel tank is leaking and I need a tune up real bad.

Yup, I was the purple RS that couldn't launch his car worth a $hit . That really pissed me off that they couldn't get their stupid @ss track working right when they had a NATIONAL EVENT the very next day!! Sometimes people really **** me off and this weekend was a shining example. That white Z28 has been there every time that I've been there, it runs mid 12's I think (I could be wildly off here). I have a big curly 'fro on top of my head and my friend is slightly taller than me with spikey hair. Say hi next time you see us there. The funniest thing is that I'm the only one running a laptop to record data, yet I'm one of the slowest cars there! Damn the college budget, damn it to hell!!

That az mills mall is in baseline right well yeah we can all meet up there and go from there what time and how far is firebird from there.

 

I'm usually around AZ mills at 7:45 but I can be there earlier. It starts at 6:00 and usually goes to around 12:00 assuming that they don't screw up their stupid track

sebastian...im gettin my carb rebuilt saturday so i prob wont run on friday, i got the rebuild kit at my house but i dont have the time to do it til saturday, hopefully that helps, theres no reason a 350 camaro w/5spd should be running what im runnin...i think it still needs some more tuning but except for the carb i think i got it pretty dialed in finally

if you have a school id its only 5 to get in and 5 to race, if you dont its 10 to get in and another 5 to race, so 15 total

 

Keep in mind though that that $5 is for high school students and not poor *** college students like myself

 

Damn i got my college ID i think i might have my HS id also they wont take it if its out of state will they hehe. either way its 15 bucks so its koo how many runs will i get. also is it a long way from tha az mills mall

 

take the freeway from az mills mall and its prob about 6-7 miles...once you pay to race and get your car teched you can run as many times as you want..make sure be4 you go that you simple stuff that you might overlook taken care of for tech, such as a battery hold down, anything loose, leaks etc. i failed tech 1 time cuz i didnt have a battery hold down, its mostly common sense stuff tho...

My bad i read the message wrong and i tought u werent going. so what time should i get there and what should i look for.

 

its cool ill prob get there around 8-8:30....my car is a white 86 z28, nothing to special looking about it, it has to 3" in flowmaster tips stickin out other than that its about stock looking, i will prob be pulling in with 1 93 eclipse riced out, a red 88 5.0, a 91 or so honda accord with rims and exhaust , im not sure whos all rolling out with me but those are the ones i know of for sure...i know there not 3rd gens but a bunch of friends from my school wanted to go, their all pretty cool tho so it should be cool...im guessing you car is a red iroc?

 

LOL yeah its red but lately its been looking more like pink. The paint is fading off. im taking doantions if anyone out there wants to donate anything so i can start painting it hehe. can i run with that 88 5.0 if its stock if not we can still do it hehe. ur in school college or HS well im in college. hey i just got back from firebird, i only saw 2 3rdgens, one wasa maroonish 86 iroc that was running deep into the 12s and the other was blue and gray i think....i got there about 8 and we stayed til like 10 then we all just went cruising...if you guys wanna try to meet out there again ill be goin in 2 weeks, hopefully ill be running....

 

I was there at mills like from 7:30 - 8 something but i dident see any white camaros or anyone dident even know where too look out there place was huge. maybe next time

 

Yeah, so here's how it went. I go out with my parents to eat (which is fine) but I get back to the dorms around 7:15, which is fine. Thinking I might actually be on time for one thing in my life, I get my buddy and we go out to start the car...no luck. The interior light had been on for three days! So nobody in the dorms has jumper cables so we go buy them and finally get a jump. Long story short we ended up at Krispy Kremes at Mills at 8:40 . Nobody was there, so we got our sugar high and went to firebird. Thinking that there might actually be racing, we paid and staged, only to wait like an hour because they let some dumbass spill oil on the track TWICE! Then they broke one lane somehow and the whole time one of the lights on the left tree was burnt out!! I'm beginning to hate everyone that works at that track, because they're all retarded. We got in like four runs, the only thirdgen I saw was a gray/blue one that was running 12's, and I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy, maybe next week guys. I sent one of you a pm saying to meet at Krispy Kremes with my phone number, but you never called .
