So, I read the article and all I have to say is "What the hell does putting on body parts and painting a car have to do with tuning?" The only thing they even talked about that mentioned performance was the use of Nitrous. Funny part was they even said that they install it for "Street Points", not to be used but for looks. Damn, must be nice to have money to blow!

College student Matt Teske paid $12,000 for his used 1997 Chevy Cavalier, but has since added $30,000 worth of accessories

For that kind of cash I would have an LT5 and a 6-speed in my '92 RS. And still have money left over!

That ain't no ****. If you were to put that many bills in any 3rd Gen you'd have one hellacious ride. I like the LT5 Idea but... I was thinking twin turbo LS1, all the suspension upgrades you can fit on an 18-wheeler, some really nice rims and tires, and a personal plate that says EATRICE. We need more movies that showcase american muscle even if it's a Rustang. Ok... so it's cool you dumped $30k in your mom's econo box and it pulls 12's what ever tickles your fancy. My point is if I put $30k in my ride it better break the sound barrier.

James, you can break the sound barrier with 30k. For 25k the Russian Air Force will sell you a ride in an SU-27. And you would have 5k left over.

I wish that they would just sell me a SU-27 for 25k. That's a bad-*** fighter jet. Maybe you could buy the ride, and then steal the plane...
