Alternator/Power Steering bracket
Alternator/Power Steering bracket
Sitting at a red light last night waiting to make my turn and my power steering goes out. I quickly pull into the parking lot to find out what happened. Opened the hood and there was the alternator laying on it's side. I broke some of the casing off the alterntor as well as the top piece of the alternator/power steering pump bracket.
I put over 4K miles on the new motor, so I am not sure if the belt was too small and/or the vibration from the motor?!
I have the serpentine style setup (88-92). Does anyone have this alternator/power steering pump bracket laying around that wants to sell it?

I thought about welding the bracket back together but have decided against it because it will look like crap. I am taking the bracket off the car tonight, so I might hit a junk yard this weekend.
I am going to pass on the JB weld idea. Thanks anyways.
