About the BBQ on Sat.........(in Tucson)

If you plan on being at the park for the BBQ on Saturday, Nov 15th, we need to figure out what everyone is going to bring.

Just post to this thread and I will update it with the items. I think we should start small and go from there. I will plan on about 20 people showing up for sure. If we need more, there is a Safeway close to the park.

Also, I will leave my cell number on here for others to contact me if they need to: 520-275-2488. Call anytime.

Name and items:

1. 88aziroc: cups, plates, forks/spoons, napkins, some hotdogs, ice.
2. Dirk: Burgers, hot dogs, buns, beer, soda, water, a grill if need be, charcoal, lighter fluid.
3. Justin: LARGE bags of chips
4. GTA4ME: Desserts
5. mrt89rs: hamburger patties and some buns
6. Craz-28: potato salad

Dirk,

I'll split your load with you if you want. I'll also have use of my wife's van to haul the grill, or I can bring mine. She's going to Phx with my daughter's cheerleading group, leaving early Saturday morning. How about we go shopping on either Friday (I'm off) or Saturday morning?

Willie

Craz,

Yeah, Dirk and I seem to think that 20 should be good for now. If we need more, we can always pitch in and go to Safeway. Just look at the list and see what has not been covered and post here as to what you would like to bring. I know that we could use some side dishes, like potato salad, cole slaw, etc. How about ketchup, mustard, relish, pickles.......just some ideas.

Bill,

Since Chris is not gonna make it, do you mind helping us out? I need to know roughly how many people are going to be coming from up north. I know that we have a few from SV coming, too.

Thomas

By the way, for all you people coming from out of town. Rita Ranch Park is also known as Purple Heart Park.

Sure. I'll try to get a good count.

I'll start a new thread for PHX people and see if we can get a good count from there.

Willie and I have our plan set as far as purchasing foods and refreshments go! We're most likely going to make beer a "BYOB" since it costs alot and neither of us want to get stuck with the tab! Safeway is super close to the park, so everyone will have their own good time.

Someone needs to bring a football.

Well, it looks like we will have at least 30 or so people attending. If you are bringing an item, please try to adjust for this. We might even have more people, but we can not be sure.

If it is okay with everyone, it looks like we are going to meet at the park ~10 am. We will start cooking and try to eat around 11.
