Got a trans am
I know its not a thirdgen, but I am picking up my newly aquired 78TA tomorrow. Paid $400 for it
...Perfect body, primered and ready for paint. No motor or tranny. Me and my friend already have a rough idea of the motor we are going to build for it. I already have, H beam rods, forged .40 over pistons, .600lift roller cam w/lifters etc. and a victor jr intake. Now I need to find a nice virgin 350 block, and order me a forged crank and some nice AFR or Canfield heads and start buildin' her. We are hoping for 450-500 NA HP, and then depending on how greedy I get either 150 or 200Shot of N20, the motor will easily be able to take it. And it will be getting a 4spd with 4.11s.
Please don't delete or lock, I know its not thirdgen related, but I have been around the boards a long time and owned 2 3rd gens, and just wanted to share the news.

Nice lol, I figure it will be about 5-6 months before it is driveable, and then prob. a year before it looks purty. I just can't wait to build the motor, its going to be rediculously fast
