Make a long story short the TA didnt survive this one.

I'm done w/ thirdgens so expect to see me driving a Talon TSI AWD or Supra GT Turbo as soon as this damn claim settles.

Nothing got messed up aside from hood, nose and pass. fender, EVERYTHING else if perfectly fine. wether tey fix it or no is another story.

very minor frame damage up on the drivers side where it bolts up tot he reinforcment, just need to be hamered back into shape. I say it's dead because I don't want to fix it and i know the body shop won't want to fix a primered 85..

Brand new tires, reapolstered GTA delux tan int. in good great shape. Indiglo Gauge overlays. Motor has about 30k on it as well as the trans & heads.

I will sell the whole car for 2,500 as it sits, I want what I put into it. Plus it would be about 200 bucks in parts to fix it. It was ready for paint. Here is a list of stuff.

Back to the thread topic.....Sergio, get yer damn head out of your ***, fix your ish, and continue the modding In your situation, unless you get the settlement, which doesn't look likely, its far better to suck it up, bust out the wrenches, and start fixing it. Then, once you've fixed it, perhaps you can sell it/trade it for a TSI or other ***** of choice.

 

Looks like thats what I'm gonna have to do. Insurance is basically trying to **** me on this one and i need a means of transportation, I can't believe I've only had the replacement hood on there for 3 weeks and it ruined also, pretty depressing. I'm sure it'll sell for what i want once it's fixed.

ROFL! It was pretty ****ty when I got it dude, I put those perfect grey seats in it and cleaned it up a bunch before u ever saw it. the seats in it before were literally sun rotted and falling apart.

AND.....as an added bonus, if you get in a wreck in a thirdgen ( sergio...) your car won't turn into a crushed beer can after a 20mph collision.

I like VWs, but i think they do best with a non-VW motor and a chromoly cage......ya know what I mean

 

Anyone can get a thirdgen into the 14's. A stock 350 thirdgen runs 14's. A VW bus runs like.. 27's stock.
