Any one locally have a set of 16" Formula wheels for sale cheap? Don't really care about the clearcoat as long as they are straight and cheap.

Im thinking you mean the 16" Turbo Deep Dish Wheels -- not the cross-lace correct ?

if so, yea, I do -- guess I'm not local, though, I'm not that far away . . . rims are clean, straight, balanced, and equipped with Firestone Firehawk SZ 50 EP's. 255/50R16. About 10K miles on them.

I'd even be willing to 'exchange' them for a solid tune on my 355 TBI.

Well I'm not sure how to get them here. Shipping is always $$$$. How much do you want for them?

Thats about the price I'm looking to pay but not sure those will clear 13" GS Vette brakes.

yeah, shipping will cost -- even if I unmount the tires and ship just the 4 wheels it would probabaly be more than twice what you'd want to pay (about 80-100 for shipping im guessing). I paid 100 each -- and I wouldn't feel right about selling them off for less than 50 each. You could probabally find something cheaper, closer.

Already have. The only reference to those wheels and 13" GS brakes were someone wanting to know if they cleared. Are those factory black or just painted?

previous owner pinted them, they're surprisingly in good shape, minimal wheel bites if any.

I was considering stripping them and polishing the lips to make them look very nice but the effert to resale value isn't worth it.

If you guys are looking for a cheap shipping alternative ship Greyhound! They will ship anything at a cheap cost. I have used them 3 times, once for gfx, once for a front nose, and then yesterday I shipped a headliner for only 30 bucks! as you can imagine the box was huge, ups would have charged me an arm and a leg.
