Well I sent my ECM to have the adapter soldered into it. I should have it back by the end of the week. Then I will start burning my own chips. Anything I learn I will pass along, but I am expecting it to be a long drawn out process.

I'm right there with ya man. My stuff came in the day after I left for Wisconsin which pissed me off more than you can imagine *but* as soon as I get back I'm diving at that car and getting the tune down. I really can't wait and I'll let you know my progress as well.

When are you due back?

 

Monday the 10th. I have to tie up a few loose ends on the car, then I think I'm going to start to try and get my idle nice (I have no idea how) get all my BLM's to 128 (I think you do that via the VE (Volumetric Effieciency) table?). Then it's trying to get the WOT stuff nailed down with my wideband and the PE (Power Enrichment)? Then timing...too easy! Not sure how to do everything, but there seems to be enough documentation around here to do it, albeit quite lengthy and heavy reading.

Hehe yeah I hear ya there. The WinALDL stuff sounded like jibberish to me for so long, so I just said hell with it and just kinda jumped into it and all of a sudden all of that crap kinda made some sense.

 

I'm back! Computer installed, but my laptop battery's dead Gonna hit it hard when the new battery comes in!
