I think we figured it out to be BoYF lol. I do not think we have anyone bringing a BBQ but i do think they have one there if anyone wants to use it. It would probaly be easier if we all just brought some food and drink for ourselves im guessing, just my 2 cents, and thats what im doing hehe.

I have to work until 1:30pm but I will be there.

Snuffy is a possibility depending on work.

Do we have a ramada number or designated area yet?

Ramada "B" is where we are going....bring your own food but I will bring extra. They have a grill which uses coal. I will bring that as well. Site opens up at 10am and we have it till 6pm. I may be leaving around 4pm if my buddy has his Super stock car ready for circle track in Prescott..

Hey guys, check this out. Grilling may be out of the question. Unless it's allowed in the camping/ramada areas only.

----------
A little tidbit from the Parks and Rec website.

Fire Ban Effective May 1st

(Phoenix) – The Maricopa County Parks & Recreation Department will initiate its annual fire ban beginning Monday, May 1, 2006. Due to the dry conditions within the parks and the lack of moisture received this winter, the department will prohibit any fires on Maricopa County park property. This includes banning the use of all campfires, fire pits, and charcoal grills. It is still acceptable to use gas/propane grills in designated areas.

The fire ban is initiated to limit the possibility of starting a brush fire, which could cause serious damage to the parks. Violation of this park rule, Rule 113, may result in a citation. A date to lift the fire ban has not been designated, and will be determined by the amount of rain Maricopa County receives during the monsoon season.

There are ten Maricopa County parks that will be affected by the fire ban: Lake Pleasant Regional Park, White Tank Mountain Regional Park, Adobe Dam Regional Park, Buckeye Hills Regional Park, Estrella Mountain Regional Park, San Tan Mountain Regional Park, Usery Mountain Regional Park, McDowell Mountain Regional Park, Cave Creek Regional Park, and Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area.

Smoking in the parks is still permissible, but all park users are strongly encouraged to be responsible in their use and ensure that all cigarettes are properly extinguished and placed in trash receptacles.

If you have any questions regarding the fire ban, call the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department at 602-506-2930, or visit www.maricopa.gov/parks.

I will buy a small gas grill. Swartzy you better show up...

If you need directions, here's the link for last years BBQ...
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/sout...-bbq-bash.html

Also, after reading the link from last year, they wouldn't allow fires or charcoal then either. We used gas. I will be there tomorrow for 10am. We have the space from 10am-6pm. I will be leaving by around 4pm as my buddy is racing in Prescott Valley. I am on his pit crew and will help him out as usual. See you all there.

its ez, hwy 74 west to Castle hot Springs, then L. Pleasant access road. You can either ask directions there when you pay or just take South Park road to overlook road, its right there. Ill be a lil late prolly, but ill be there. I was a little depressed earlier today, almost killed someone, but then i made it better... lol Long story short, a pole jumped out and bit my pass. side fender right where the front clip and fender join, i was lucky not to have ripped off the front clip... but I got my ZR-1's on it afterwards so its all good i guess... ill fix the fender eventually, its not like its un-drivable.. just a dent.. so, ill be there

That's ugly ... same thing happened to me couple years ago when my 10-bolt blew out in Marysville, CA and the 92 had to be driven 600 miles to Long Beach. I was afraid they wouldn't load it on the boat and make me miss my flight. Hope your problem is easily fixed, might start with the distributor...

thanks for your concern and well wishes, but im pretty close to being 100% sure i lost a valve, if not the whole cylinder... ugh.... not fun... i have a spare 305cid longblock here in ca, but my car is at my old residence in Phoenix, so now the dilemma of renting a trailer and towing it back, or taking the motor out there and doing the work... im PRAYING its just the valve, cuz ill take the 305 heads off and put them on the 350cid shortblock, but with my luck lately... i wont even be able to bore the damage out of the block...
