Anyone? Gas tank feedthrough? Including the hardlines, pump optional.

This forum is quiet lately.

I've got some fuel piping systems for a 5.7 TPI left over from modding my tank assembly to change the pump from the hatch area and avoid dropping the tank. As I recall, the fuel gauge sending units were not working due to bad resistor wires, but they could be changed for el cheapo add-on sending units.

If this would work for your needs let me know.

The hardlines have not been cut on these extra units.

But the fuel level sender doesn't work?

True, but any of the fuel sending units can be retrofitted with an aftermarket 0-90 ohm universal float assembly such as the $16 JC Whitney el-cheepo shown in the attached photo. In fact, if you're looking to replace the pump/piping assembly due to a bad sending unit, this mod is the way to go. Just cut away the mounting top part, bolt or tack-weld to the fuel piping, cut and solder the wires. Less then $20 sure beats $300+ or a $50 used part ready to fall apart. Of course making these changes are a lot easier with an access panel, but that's another flaming story....

As long as the hardlines are fully intact, and all of the parts are there (minus pump), what do you want for one?

Nothing. Nada. Zero. NIL. +=- except for postage.

I brought them with me when I moved from Hawaii simply 'cause I'm a packrat and throw nothing away. But since you're offering, perhaps you could give me advice when I have tuning questions, since I'm a dumb-a** when it come to getting TPI squared away.

Send me your address via PM and I'll get a unit on the way.
