I would like to replace the cloth top on my 1990 IROC vert with a new cloth top with the glass window in the rear for better visibility. Does anyone know of a shop in the metro Phoenix area that can do this for a reasonable price? I would prefer the west valley but will drive as far as it takes to get it done by a decent installer that won't overcharge for the parts and labor.

 

I was in a hurry to get mine done awhile back and didn't shop around but I got a good job done. Cost was $1000 for new top and install, canvas top with the glass window. Place is called Able Auto Upholstery at 5230 W. Glendale Ave. Pricey but I have had no problems with the top.

If you go with the glass window, you will have to fold down your rear seats to put the top down.

 

$1000 is almost half what another shop quoted. I'll have to give them a call and see what the price is if they do a glass top.
