Any local car meetups, or shows etc?
I'm pretty sure I've asked this in the past...
Are there any spots where a bunch of American Muscle meets up?
Back east we'd have meet ups at Lowes hardware, Hardees etc. Classics, Newer Muscle, Antiques, even some luxury cars...
I know we've talked about just getting together and grabbing some grub and hanging out. I'm down for that too.
Word.

On the East side the most popular ones are the McDonalds at the Scottsdale Pavilions (Indian bend and the 101) and Kmart at the Mesa Pavilions (Power road and Hampton Avenue) across from the Superstition mall.

Sorry, Saturday evenings.
Very few Imports show up to those. Mostly older folks with every kind of car you can think of. American Muscle cars are the most common but also Model As all the way up to million dollar Daytona prototypes. Some are exotics not legal to drive in the United States. I guess you could call those Imports.....

There's also the Mesa Cruise on Main Street on the 4th Saturday of every month.
Central Cruise happens at least once a year in downtown Phoenix.
The NW Valley has an every Saturday car show similar to the scottsdale Pavillions at a Safeway at 83rd Ave and Lake Pleasant Parkway.
And Arizona FBody (www.azfba.com) usually has at least one cruise or track day every month posted on their website.

well for the Pav's its older people with nice cars around 6-7 then senior citizen mode kicks in and they split, ricers (not imports just straight rice) shows up around 8 or 9, theres a speed shop right next to the event, horribly overpriced though and YC's is a pretty good place to eat if the bigmac isnt your thing lol i havent gone in a while because the thirdgen turnout isnt that great, we have a few members that believe that your cars gotta be in pristine condition to park in the show but...well its the pavillions if a kid can ***** off his civic then my primered camaro can be shown off too lol

Cool Thanks guys. I'm cool with classic cars, nice imports etc. Just not ricers or affliction kids in lifted trucks haha.
I'll have to check them out.... We should get a third gen meet up going. Or at least an f-body one. Then maybe it can grow.

I went to the Scottsdale Pavilions last Saturday. They had a big display of Camaros and a couple of nice T/As.
The place was hopping though, there had to be over 300 cars and even one of those bugatti veyrons showed up. Nothing like checking out the fastest and most expensive car in the world for free!!
Good times!!!!
