Well guys I think it's time we all got together and hung out. Who's all down for setting something up? I guess that the tri-state area (nev, cal and ari) would be something to consider. Maybe vegas or anywhere in between? So what do you guys say?

Hey, there's only one Thirdgen Fest. You guys should make the drive out for the real thing next spring.

 

I would be down, I always wanted to go to all the meets in cali but I could never make it. Way too far to drive for just a couple hour event, and the car wont even be clean enough to show by the time you get there. I probably can drive an hour from where I am at for a thirdgen meet. Kingman AZ would be perfect!

 

EXACTLY!!! We would leave arizona with 25 cars and would only have about 6 by the time we got to IL! There would be thirdgens scattered all along I-40! LOL!

 

I think it would be sick, we just need to see how many would actually show up. I know people have lives and are busy. If we could do it here I can actually get approval to use my store as the base. (Aaron's sales and lease) I can get music, entertainment and food no problem. We have cars shows here once a month for all the garage queens we have here in town, we have a good size parking lot.

 

I know someone in kingman with a TTA who I bet would be interested in coming too.

 

Who George? I believe he might show up. I know there's quite a few thirdgenners here in town. I would just have to spread the word.

 

This sounds like fun. Though I don't think my Trans Am is going to be ready to go anytime soon. I just got it running today for the first time in months.

 

I'm all for it as long if it's after the Holidays, maybe anytime after the new year?....and how is the weather in Kingman during the winter months?

 

Im down!!! The convertible should be driveable after the holidays i can take that on its first cruise!

 

I would love to make it, but my business takes top priority. Besides, I might have my car torn apart by that time to get paint done. Depends on money and if I find my quarter panels. Good luck with it and know that I will be there in spirit at least.

I say January 15th ish, im coming back to AZ for a visit, unfortunately the poor camaros gotta stay here in WA but id catch a ride with somebody lol

 

Anytime would be good for me, Im down for when ever. I would like it to be on a Saturday or Sunday though because I have school everyday of the week until 1:30. I just hope we actually meet up and this thread is not like the Wisconsin one were they have been talking about a meet up for the past 2 years and nothing has happened yet.

 

I think we need to narrow down some things first before we plan a date like...

1.Location/season weather
2.What is the main thing, cruise?, hang out?, BBQ?, scenic photo shoot?
3.Are we keeping it 3rd gens only? (preferable!!)
4.We need a good car count to make this fun! Dozen or more?

Those are all I can think of right now, If we get the above set in place I think we can set a date....anyone else got any ideas?

 

 

Well like I was saying, if we could do it here I could supply place and entertainment. I can also do refreshments but i would need a real count as to who will actually be here. I figured it could be a BBQ/Hang out type deal. I would prefer it to be mainly a thirdgen thing but if others want to come that doesn't bother me either.

 

This is a great idea. Finally, someone who wants to get together in AZ. Count me (89 Firebird) and my buddy Ryan (91 CAmaro RS) in... Also, Ive got a hook up at SYSCO foods if we wanted to do a BBQ. Couple brews, brawts, burgers, the works. . .
WE can show those honda kids how us thirdgener's roll. . .
Keep me posted on whats what. and this should be a sticky so its easier for me to find!

Sounds good to me, whats the weather like in your area Jan-March? do you have snow up there around that time?

 

It doesn't really snow up here, maybe every now and again but not really. I think March might be better due to weather but if anybody has any other suggestions it all good

I WOULD GO IF I KAN GET MY $#@!@!$# 88 5.7 TO RUN. IN THE MIDDLE OF REAR END SEALS / FUEL PUMP CHANGE. IM KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED THE ENGINE AND 700R4 ARE STILL GOOD. I BOUGHT THE CAR NOT RUNNING. I PAID MY MONEY AND TOOK MY CHANCES. THE CAR IS COMPLETE AND STRAIGHT. PRETTY GOOD SHAPE AND T-TOPS.

Vegas sounds cool, but keep in mind the spring "Cruisin' central" event is coming up in april... Expect to see at least some of you there. Dont know if they will have a burnout-box in the street this year though... Had a car hit a tree this last time.

When we all gettin together? My car is finally running pretty smooth and this would be a great way to see how good it is.Plus id like it to happen soon before somethin else goes wrong with my car. haha
