New bird on the block.
Hey people just figured i'd say hello from Arizona! New to the boards but not new to the good ol'bird. Had a 79 Trans Am 400 and an 81 Trans Am 6.6 (454 racing setup) Bought myself a 1991 Firebird Trans Am GTA and seen an awsome 3rd gen group with alot of know how and what to. Hope to meet some of you and welcome to any tips. The car is atm my daily driver but being *Restored* to a nice show worthy car within the coming year!

Re: New bird on the block.
Nothing done but drove it to work from day of purchase.
The guy I bought it from also threw in 2 brand new doors*RED* /w windows so it'll take some time cause I have to repaint the doors before mounting and tint the windows. Just gonna do a nice primer on doors cause I plan to replicate the 91 Gunmetal exterior and the Black interior.

Re: New bird on the block.
Just a few questions
Looking to pick up aftermarket headers and exhaust I want something that has a nice low rumble with a loud wake the street up sound when punched and should I get 2.5 or 3" ? Don't have to worry about emissions where I live either.

Re: New bird on the block.
Welcome. I have a set of ceramic coated Edelbrock TES headers with AIR hookups (currently capped) if you are interested. They have a few scratches from installation but nothing bad. I only used them for about 15 miles.

Definitely go with a 3" exhaust! I have the same headers on my 91 Z that 91 1LE is currently selling great fit and finish.
