After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589

Congrats! Not bad at all. Is this also a B4C? Was it purchased locally?

Very nice i have a true dual set up routed the stock way for sale with headers that will really wake this thing up
Re: After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589
Already have headers ,exhaust and upgraded ignition system for it.
New intake setup on its way. Still narrowing down which DFI I am going with this time around and whether its going to be turbo or supercharged.

If it's been gone since 2005, it could either be anywhere by now. Or still in the garage of the dude you sold it to.
Re: After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589
Got a few parts in this week. Still waiting on the intake setup to come in, need to find a throttle body, order new injectors and chip. Hopefully will have some time at the end of the month to work on the car.

Re: After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589
Yeah that intake looks great. I haven't seen too many third gens at all here, at least in the east valley. I just got mine late last year but she's coming along great for a student's budget.
The funny thing was when I brought mine to the emission testing place, there was an 89 convertable right in front of me that looked like it was in great condition. My camaro had grey "primered" paint on the hood and oversprayed on the fenders, messed up looking wheels, and cracked ground effects.
The person with the 89 camaro couldn't get their hood open so they didn't get to test the car. Surprisingly to me, my Camaro passed first try.
Now that I got to inspect it a lot, I think my Camaro passed because there is a large crack along the intermediate pipe after the catalytic converter, and I know there are some leaks before the cat (becasue when I sea foam the engine, white smoke emits from the engine bay.)
I've got all new exhaust on the way though so that good.
Anyways nice car, keep us updated on the progress! I love to see a project come together!

Adding this to your fleet ... WOW! Just seen your garage pic next to what looks like a Turbo Buick (posted a few months back). Hard not to notice the gmc typhoon poster too. You my friend have a great taste in cars!
Keep us posted on the sale of the B4C.

Wil do. I am not completely sold on selling the B4C yet. As I do less with the Military and start to build my buisness more I may or may not have to sell it but the board will get first crack at it if I do.

Yeah, you're gonna love that TTA! What # is it? Keep the B4C....Just put it on "simmer" for a while!
Nice collection!

Re: After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589
Well the B4C will be going up for sale. Too many customer projects and not enough garage space so it will have to go to a new home.
Re: After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589
I have never had such a lack of interest in a thirdgen as this one. If it does not sell by fall I will be unfortunately parting her out. Keep an eye on craigslist if you are looking for parts.

Re: After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589
So the Phoenix thirdgen market is dead or just people are cheapskates these days?
Re: After 9yrs back in a Thirdgen and the 589
Probably a little of both. To many people watch those stupid reality shows and think everyone will give stuff away or you a desperate and have to sell.
