I was wondering if there are any other thirdgen guys here in town? If there are would any of you be interested in getting together for a gathering. I know there are a few camaro clubs here in town like Zrated, but if there are at least a few of you maybe we could start another car club.. Please reply if interested.

 

Not from Albuquerque, but I love that place! Just got back from there a few weeks ago. I have several friends who live there.
No front license plate laws, you can buy liqour/beer at almost any store till midnight 7 days a week. They have green chile. Speed limit is 75 on the freeway. There are mountains everywhere.
If I ever move from Texas, it will be to Albuquerque.

 

I have the opposite thing from 89ROC: I was born in Albequerque and moved to Fort Worth area. I was four, though, when we moved, so I don't remember very much of NM.

I have a 1989 RS. It was a V6, but I put a 4th Gen (1993) LT1 engine and tranny. I also have 4th Gen (1997) seats. I am currently working at(on) putting in 4th gen dash and console.

Im in ABQ, well most of the time I am. What kinda subframes did you get? I put my Spohn subframes in myself...Not too bad of a job. Anyways im up for a meet...Not really a car club person but love to check on other peeps rides...BTW IMHO ABQ is the blackhole of performance....no air we're at over 5200 feet....the air that is here is bad (not polution wise just not very dense) and there is ZERO here as far as performance....probably due to both of the prior resons stated above... But its ok if you cant live in PHX.

I have a set of Kenny Brown's subframe connectors
I don't know how to weld so I need some help with this.

At the moment I am "down" trying to deal with a project
that won't stop expanding.

All I was going to do was install some struts....
added bushings, noticed some rust, pulled the fenders,
noticed....

Anyway ....
Anythoughts on the local shops ?

I don't buy too much locally, other than MSD ignition stuff @ Yearwood & Fel-Pro from Auto-zone. I use AC Delco for most stuff that I can.

 

When you going to do this ?
