Machine shops in orange county area
I need some custom machine work done to a T56 tailhousing to allow a cable driven speedo to be used. I was told that a verticle mill is the only equipment needed to do such a modification. I'm looking for machine shops that would be willing to tackle such a unique project without @ss-raping me.
Any suggestions? maybe Don has the equipment to do it. let me know.

I haven't seen the instructions yet. But I believe a new hole for the cable driven speedo needs to be cut (or the previous VSS hole opened up?) and maybe a few other operations like a fastener hole for the speedo cable. I should get the instructions some time this week. Its part of the "Jags That Run" conversion kit for a cable driven speed in a T56 tranny. It should be pretty simple. They don't sell the modified tailhousing on an exchange basis anymore, only the parts for the kit and the instructions.
Turn around time would be a few days (or a week). I'm gonna try to do this within two weeks because I'm still waiting for a few things on my T56 swap.
Chino isn't a far drive for me. Once I get the instructions I'll scan them and email them to you so you can take a look.
thanks,
James
