Can your car handle?
Anyone interested in going Auto-Xing with me instead of drag racing at Fontana? It is June 8th (practice) and June 9th (competition). Check out www.solo2.com . Nick or Glenn (or anyone else), are you guys going?

Glenn, you and I need to get together there. I will also be there with someone from LS1.com. I hope to learn from both of you. I was told I can go on Sunday, and I don't need to go Saturday. True?
Nick, you'll be running both Saturday and Sunday? If so, I'll see you there the day I am not Auto-Xing (since Willow Springs is my "front yard" almost
).
I will try and bring a video camera to "catch you in action".
I love living near two race tracks (1/4 mile and road course)! :lala:

91FIREBIRDGT:
Run your car, what the heck. Your's should be light enough to take the turns faster than heavy V8s.
Mike P.:
I'll keep you updated so you know who tail lights to look for (I read the other board's post).
Chris:
Yes, even you can attend. No membership required, although you do get a discount if you are an SCCA member.

Well 89 or I think 1988 was my last auto cross, and that was either at USC or UCLA. I haven’t been in a while however I do have over 500 hours of track time
between all of the major tracks here in So Cal and lots of unofficial time playing in Angeles Crest. But I think some solo time would be a fun experience again its a lot different than road racing. Maybe one day I will be able to watch your rear suspension fail and slide out from under you in turn 9 at about a buck thirty on the big track
at Willow like all of the other 4th gens I’ve gone around in the past. Remember its like Daddy says (I'm Daddy) when third gen brakes fail learn how to drift. I’ll be at Willow this Wednesday for a private track event with some friends. You should stop by and check it out.
