Same deal same story. Car sits in garage all weekend with a new battery that has only started the car a few times and drove a few miles. Go too start it today again no power. Nothing is left on. Im considering I must have a bad alternator, but some thing gots me thinking it is some thing else. The Fan switch relay has been disconnected and I have no stereo in the car to be draining constant. not even the alarm.

 

What about the dome light or the light in the rear hatch compartment?

 

When the 1st time I just put the battery in an didnt do any thing or touch any thing an looked around, No lights are on. But there is one thing.... The shock sensor for the alarm is still functional.. I see it flash a red light, I donno I don't know any thing about car alarms but Im kinda not sure if that would even be the problem cause it's been like that since I bought the car. another the rear hatch pull down is not going down, could this be any thing also. I don't know what is wrong with that thing but few weeks ago it would not even lock, now it locks but does not go down, i figured I had a bad relay. I am hoping it is the alt and i just have warranty cover it since it was just rebuilt an hopefully Kragen will give me another battery. If not I think I will go back to a Dura Last. or better yet just relocate the battery in time an just be broke down till I finish getting parts I need to get me back running the way I need.
