i no nothing about drag strips. what are the rules and how much is thae cost and where are they. i live around irwindale and go to the speed way almost every sat night, but never been to the 1/4mile strip. also is it emmbarrasing if ur car is pathetically slow? i just wanna test my cars speed and time.

Well depending on how fast u run, u need a helmet, each strip has different rules, as for slow, i ran 18.0's and i didnt care, no one else did either

Demonchild, I'm not sure if it was you, the one that posted that you were only sixteen, if it was make sure you take a letter with your parents consent and even then they might give you a hard time.

Many places check for coolant overflow tank and battery hold down. Functioning seatbelts. Those are the main items. Other than that, learn where the staging line is, how to stage, and when to go. Staging is where most people screw up.
