Auto-X anyone?

Will our happy host (Mr. Duensing) from last time be there? Auto-Xing at Hollywood Park. I am thinking of going, anyone else have interest? Here is the schedule, the next one is Jan. 25th, then Feb. 15th.

So much for this club being into Drag Racing, eh? :sillylol:

those run $40? How much run time do you usually get? 3 or 4 time trials? Just pick a date. I would like to make a run at willow but I want to get the camera dampened properly so I can get better footage.

IIRC it was $40. Depending on how many people show up for either practice or championship day, you can get at least 2-6 runs. I think they run the groups in one or two hour intervals, but you can get back in line immediately. After/before which (depending on which class you are in), you should at least participate in the work groups. This helps keep the costs down. Plus it is cool being able to see up close how the "pros" take the turns. Helps you examine different lines to take. The last one I attened at Fontana, you could run after the event for $1 per run.

How about Jan. 25th? If we can get on the list for Willow in Feb. 12th, then do Feb 15th Auto-X ... it could be too much, unless you guys want to.

sounds good and reasonable (prices).

so:

Jan 25 - AutoX ($40)
Feb 12 - Willow ($125)
Feb 15 - AutoX ($40) (depending on my tire wear)

I don't know how flexible other people can be with willow on a wednesday but I won't have a problem (gotta love extremely flexible schedules). I guess I better start saving for tires.

I'll be there Jan 25th since I'm the event master. The Feb date will be our last date at HP since they sold our lot to WalMart

BTW, the price for Jan will be $30 for non-members and $20 for point card holders. It costs $20 for a card so if you do more than 2 a year, you'll save $$$$. Also there is some talk about limiting the practice events non-point card holders to 20.
