All's well that ends well!!
On the way to the meeting tonite I broke my toy (camaro). I had a friend with a trailer that assisted and we got home safe and sound. Now to find out what I damaged in the engine
Might be a broken push rod or two(I hope)

Great news I only broke a valve spring on the ex. of #6.
Changed all the push rods anyhow

That's great that you don't have to start all over with another engine! I was wondering what the outcome was! Good luck!

Any ideas as to what caused it (defective)? You should consider going to Fontana, looks like it may rain at night. So you may have a good morning running.

I did learn a good lesson, never reuse aftermarket rocker arm nuts. Had to do it all over again, only this time w/genuine GM parts.
