All's well that ends well!!

On the way to the meeting tonite I broke my toy (camaro). I had a friend with a trailer that assisted and we got home safe and sound. Now to find out what I damaged in the engine
Might be a broken push rod or two(I hope)

Doh! That's terrible! We were all looking forward to seeing how well it ran. I'll cross my fingers that it's something minor.

sorry to hear

Hopefully it is something simple such as a push rod, and hopefully not to much internal damage.

Damn, That sucks! Have you had a chance to get in it yet? I hope it's something simple.

Sorry to hear Don, glad you found someone to help you out. You know we were ready to help you out. Let us know the diagnosis, and good luck (on it being something simple).

Great news I only broke a valve spring on the ex. of #6.
Changed all the push rods anyhow
That's all for now 'till I get it running.

Hi Don!
That's great that you don't have to start all over with another engine! I was wondering what the outcome was! Good luck!
Hope to see ya soon, eat alot, and basically force everyone out the restaraunt again!!!! Oops, I'll be on my best behavior at the X-mas dinner!

Have a good one,

George

Good to hear Don. Any ideas as to what caused it (defective)? You should consider going to Fontana, looks like it may rain at night. So you may have a good morning running.

Yeah, I think it was just a bad one!
I don't know now if I will have time to get the line-lock hooked up.
Rain is predicted for Sat.-Sun.-Mon.

I did learn a good lesson, never reuse aftermarket rocker arm nuts. Had to do it all over again, only this time w/genuine GM parts.
