1-man brake bleeding screws

I noticed in the Help section at Pepboys they now stock an assormant of 1-man brake bleeding screws. They aren't they earls-type with a ball and spring, but appear like a regular bleeder screw but have thread sealant on their threads?

anybody see or try these yet?

Sounds like the Russell units or a copy of them. Don't use them, the sealant wears off the treads quickly and will back leak air into the lines after only one or two uses. Get the Earl's solo-bleeds, I've had these on three of my cars for several years now and they all still function great.

Great source for Earl's products, I have never been in here and not walked out with what part I needed in hand- great inventory:

never heard of that place before. Are they a local warehouse, performance parts business, or ??? Their name doesn't ring of a speed shop type name.

thanks,
James

The Russell bleeder screws are junk. I tried them once some time back and returned them. Even fully closed they leaked.
