Where can I get Bendix Titanium brake pads around these parts?
I hear Advance Auto carries them, but they're only in the East coast. Out here, Autozone, Kragen, nor Pep Boys carry Bendix.
What part numbers should I look for? ('92 J65 4 wheel disc, non-1LE)
I need to get my brakes done bad. Took the car out of storage the other day and the brakes are really scary to use, car felt like it was 10,000 lbs heavier. I hear Earls stainless steel brake lines help out with that. Maybe I should order some.
Dyno Don, quick estimate on getting this done?
Thanks.

Those pads will more than likely be a "special order" item. I doubt your average AP store will stock them. Your best bet is to do an online search. I've also heard some good things about the Stillen pads. http://www.stillen.com/

Did you mean "special order" on that side of town? As the post said, I just put them on Josh's car Saturday (in stock over here).

Look in the phone book for places that specialize in "undercar" parts(chassis, suspension and brakes) I get mine out here at either FAST Undercar or Powers Undercar, dont know if they have any shops outside of my valley but there always $10-30 cheaper than say NAPA or Auto Zone(they supply for most AP stores)...

Ooopps! I thought you were referring to the Earl's brake lines. But you're probably right, on this side of town I bet they'd have to be ordered.Originally posted by Dyno Don

I was just checking on the Bendix front pads p/n MKD-154
Kragen $51 2-day order
FastUndercar in Torrance $29.49 in stock
for more locations go to www.fastundercar.com
I've heard good things about these pads and the price is right. I may give them a try pretty soon, my PF CM's are about finished, and I hate them when they're cold.
