Started mechanics classes this week :D

Now I am able to work on my car a lot more I can balance my tires, resurface my drums and rotors, and pretty much anything else under the sun. So far I have redid my rear brakes. Don, found out what the rear leak was and why my e-brake cable didn't work. The leak wasn't a rear axle seal leak rather the wheel cylinder on the right rear was completely worn out. Then the e-brake bracket come loose and was rattling around inside my drum which is why I had that stupid jingling and no e-brake Now I am going to put in a shift kit and flush the transmission. Anyone know where they sell Trans Go shift kits real cheap? Oh and Don John sent my injectors yesterday so they should be here sometime next week. I have the tracking number so I am watching their progress Here's the bird on the lift in the shop

Glad to see that you are learning Nigel As for a shift kit.. Go to Acematic In Orange or Santa Ana I believe tell them your a student At the school your attending and they well let you buy a sk with a discount. Think about using a Superior Sk instead, From my experience there just better. Don't for get to pick up your .500 boost valve also.. And I am sure I have a vette Gov you can have also..

Starting class now? I hope it's not 105 degrees there every day like it is here. Yuck! I couldn't imagine working in that heat.

Cool, I've been going to mechanics school for past 2 1/2 yrs, and I'm almost done, after that I'm going to GM University for engineering design. Keep it up.

Class is actually cool indoors. Mmmm air conditioning Yea this is the first time I actually enjoy going to class and time flies while I am there The teacher is extremely cool and is always encouraging us to bring in our cars to work on them. He used to fix Porsches, Lambos, Ferraris, and Maseratis. Right now he is buying one of those Porsche GT2 or GT3 which ever one is the twin turbo one. But the class is cool and I am very happy to finally learning more on fixing my own car

Yea it works perfect now. Thanks a lot for making the time to fix the little glitch. It's nice to now use my turn signals without the doors locking and unlocking I like the alarm and the sensitivity is set just right.

Sounds like a similar 'glitch' that I have with the RS. Maybe Donna will have better luck sweet talking Jason into talking a look at it....

Thing with yours is that the turn signals going out isnt directly connected with the alarm itself. The way the wiring is, the worst that could happen, would be like what happened with Nigel, the alarm would be effected, not the turn signals. And the fact that they worked after the alarm was done, and then went out around the time the fogs were put in doest make me believe it was the alarm. you should try getting a relay and replace the turn signal relay, mine are blinking VERY slowly, and when they one in my trick went out, didnt blink at all.

Why don't you do your homework and do a search on the tranny board and you might learn something.
