With all the time the ecu was on the floor it was time to make a change.

very cool. Any abnormalities with signal interference? where do you plan to place the remote PROM connector or is it going to be located on the ECM case?

Yes, If the cable is over 12" long the ECU will not see the chip and if the cable is over 10.5" long you will get some S.E.S. lights

The prom is mounted on the bottom of the case so you can just change the prom without pulling down the ECM. The prom in this location has a cable thats 5" long and has tested with no problems.

Looking at the ECM and you have me thinking about more EMI protection I will mill a slot in the case and try to run the cable on the inside so only the zif is external.

I thought

You were making this for 2 proms I thought I seen a ecm before with a dual stage chip for Nos??
