Fontana Drags This Weekend.....

Who's going to watch or race? Who wants to line up next to me and get smoke? I'll be showing up at the track around 4:00 to 4:30. I have to do some overtime at work. Can somebody bring a floorjack. I will not have time to stop at home.

I'll line up with ya .....can't help ya with the jack though. If there are as many people as there was two weeks ago, shouldn
't have a problem borrowing one.

Yep that was us, both cars should have been running mid-low 12's, with all the imports dragging water to line, traction was a problem, not to mention the wind and heat.

I gave up drag racing my car. I have run it down Pomona a few times but after that I stopped. I'd prefer to turn corners in my car, so that's how I'm setting it up. I'm thinking about joining NASA and checking out some HPDE events in the near future.

If it wasn't an all day thing to head out to Fontana I'd come out and watch you guys run.

I just wanted to know what format you wanted to get spanked at

...just let me know when and where

My car is actually setup for corner carving but drag racing is cheaper and more available.

Yeah, drag racing is waaay cheaper and not as hard on the car, but it's tons o' fun taking turns. If Tom Keliher ever gets his cast off his foot I think we're gonna do an Angeles Crest run.

let's take it to a track and go wheel-to-wheel I'm only slightly dangerous (both to you and me) and highly inexperienced

Feel the "influence and persuasion" of the blue bunny.....bwahahahaha

Sure, but let's not "trade paint". I don't need blue bunny stripes on the white rocket.

I can feel it! I can feel it! I just hope I don't feel the "impact" of the blue bunny.

since you won't be able to keep up trading paint shouldn't be a problem

... but don't let my current flaking/peeling "I need a paint job BADLY" look intimidate your driving style

10 east pass 15fwy, exit Cherry, left on Cherry, about 2 miles north, turn left into California Speedway. Somebody out there might have an extra helmet for you.

I have an in-car camera mount (video/digital/etc.) with remote triggers so that issue is now resolved

Last nights update.....

Vincent and I ran pretty good although neither of reached our goals. Frank (1BADD AM) was there with his TTA and I believe he got a new number.
I got a new ET and a couple of new 60' times.
1.79 & 1.77. My Best run almost got me there but not quite 13.01 @105.20.
I guess before anybody gets their feathers ruffled I should mention Jerry helped me install his runners on my car for the evening. The results do look promising.
